So life here has been pretty stressful recently.  And I don’t post about the rest of my life so much on this blog.   So here is a little bit about the rest of my life for a change:
As I type my daughter is alternating between dancing and telling me what her next art project [...]

Why Two Blogs?

For me these days it’s three if you count face book.  I gave in and joined them when someone from school invited me.  I keep things shallow there.   The main two are this one, and the one that has existed for family as long as I’ve known what a blog is.  We moved across the [...]

Spelling

Some of my posts are appearing with horrible spelling errors.  That’s me.  When I am not near the big computer and have the chance I end up posting from my phone, which has no spell check.  Then when I get the chance I come back and check the spelling from the computer, but sometimes that’s [...]

Put her in charge of keeping oil or cream on stretch marks.  It’s as good as a nursing job.  When I was pregnant the stretch marks were just bothersome because they were colored lines that hadn’t been there before.  Thanks to the dexamethasone I have them in many more places, and they hurt and or [...]

Should I be writing that I’m thankful to be alive now?  I suppose I am, but it’s not something I was thinking about so much.  When my trouble walking was identified as metastatic melanoma rather than the “100 other things”  at the end of July, all my thoughts were treatment, rather than immediate death.  Death [...]
